Prof. Rudrangshu Mukherjee, Chancellor Ashoka University, inaugurated Ranmmohun's book Tuhfat-ul-Muwahhidin on 27th September 2021 at the Museum. Prof. Mukherjee, who has also written the foreward of this book, cited on the various aspects of Rammohun at the book launch. The event had a gathering of eminent personnel. Prof. Ranjit Sen, ex-professor, Calcutta University also addressed the gathering. You can watch the event on YouTube.

Eminent historian and Member of Parliament Prof. Sugata Bose delivered the annual lecture at the museum on the ocassion of the 243rd birth anniversary of Raja Rammohun Roy. Dr. Bose who is a Professor of History at the Harvard University spoke on "Rammohun O Banglar Nabojagoran." Speaking at the occassion Dr. Bose spoke at length of the prevalant socio economic status and conditions in Bengal at that time. He spoke at length how the ideals of Rammohun paved the way for the Renaissance to happen in India and why Rammohun was called the Father of Modern India.
