| Museum activities include organizing Seminars & other programmes on the occasions like the Birth & Death anniversaries of Raja Rammohun Roy regularly. Presenting Brahmo Sangeet is an obvious integral part of such programmes. Seminars are generally held on topics like thoughts and contribution of Raja Rammohun Roy in perspective of contemporary India. |

228th Birth Anniversary of Raja Rammohun Roy was celebrated on 22nd May,2000. The chief-guest of the programme were Dr. Pratap Chunder Chunder, Ex-Union Education & Social Welfare Minister and Special Guest Dr. S. K. Chakravarti, Director, Indian Museum. Museum Gallery was inaugurated by Dr. Pratap Chandra Chunder.
In 2001 Prof. Saswati Sanyal, Prof. Dabashish Chakrabarti and Prof. Bharati Roy of Rammohan College delivered lectures on Economic and Political thoughts of Raja Rammohun Roy. An interactive session was held regarding the different aspects of Raja's life and activities.

233rd Birth Anniversary of Raja Rammohun Roy was celebrated on 22nd May,2005.
The chief-guest of the programme was Dr. Pratap Chandra Chunder and Dr. Basudeb Chatterjee was speaker. He delivered a speech on 'Rammohun & Modern Era.' In the same year Handicrafts Center (Aparajitaa) was inaugurated by Dr. Pratap Chandra Chunder.
Prof. Amlan Dutta presented his commemorative lecture on 'Presentation of Bouquet, Inauguration of the museum' at the 237th Birth Anniversary of Raja Rammohun Roy on 22nd May,2009. Prof. Chattabrata Palit was special guest in this occasion.

 In addition, the Study Center of Raja Rammohun Roy Memorial Museum started in journey on 22nd May, 2009. The auspicious occasion was inaugurated by Prof. Gautam Sengupta.
In the same year , an audio CD consisting Brahmo Sangeet had been launched by Raja Rammohun Roy Memorial Museum, which was inaugurated by Sri Gopal Krishna Gandhi, the reputed Honorable Governor of West Bengal. For details click here.
An interactive session took place in the form of a discussion between Dr.Miratun Nahar, Retired Associate Professor , Victoria College & Swami Taygarupananda, Principal, Ramkrishna Mission Vidya Mandira, on the topic, "Significance of Rammohun 's thoughts on Religious Harmony in the present day perspective" at the 238th Birth Anniversary of Raja Rammohun Roy on 22nd May, 2010.
 239th Birth Anniversary of Raja Rammohun Roy was celebrated on 22nd May, 2011. The topic "Relevance of Rammohun's spirit of social Reform in Modern India," had been presented by two eminent speakers, Dr. Abhijit Mitra of Burdwan University & Dr. Samarendra Nath Banerjee of Rammohan College respectively.
The Birth Anniversary of Raja Rammohun Roy on 22nd May, 2012, we invited renowned historian Dr. Goutam Niogy. He presented his lecture on "Rammohun as the hero of Rabindranath."
We invited Prof. Parthasarathi Majumder, Department of Physics, Ramkrishna Mission Vivakananda University, he spoke on "Black hole Mystery" at the 241st Birth Anniversary of Raja Rammohun Roy on 22nd May, 2013. |

242nd Birth Anniversary of Raja Rammohun Roy was celebrated on 22nd May,2014. The chief-guest of the programme was Dr. Uma Dasgupta , Former Director of U.S. Educational Foundation, a renowned educationist. She delivered a thoughtful speech on 'Rabindranath Tagore's Visva-Bharati: A world in one nest.'.
We also paid our homage to Rammohun on his Death Anniversary on 27th September. Prof. Partho Pratim Basu Presented his commemorative lecture on "Rammohun in England" at the 181st death anniversary of Raja Rammohun Roy on 27th September ,2013. On that day Reading room of Raja Rammohun Roy Memorial Library was opened by Eminent Sculptor and Artist, Sri Niranjan Pradhan to scholar & interested members of the public.
In addition we invited Prof. Andre Beteille, leading Sociologist & National Professor and Professor of Delhi University to deliver a speech on Government and opposition on 12th November 2011.
A whole day seminar on "Reading Rammohun Roy; A 21st Century perspective" was organized in collaboration with Association of International Relations, Jadavpur University on 11th March,2012 .
